Bindkracht10
Bindkracht10 is an organisation for social work. We have been committed to the people of Nijmegen for more than 50 years. We are there for everyone, but pay extra attention to people with few social contacts, a small network or who are in a difficult situation. What was the aim of your implementation?
We started with CiviCRM in 20213. We wanted an easier and faster way to keep track of customer information in our Money Assistance department. And we wanted to be able to report better to the municipality and subsidy providers.
The approach and progress of the project
We mapped our processes with a group of users. We have also streamlined that. The next question was what data we needed to do our job well. And what that meant for the data structure and design of the software. Because there was a small budget, it was decided to only use existing software. The only customization that had to be developed was a report. Subsequently, the costs were mainly for hosting. As a result, we have worked for quite a few years without further costs with CiviCRM - or the KVS, the customer tracking system, as we call it.
What changed
Over the years we have had more customisations made. The biggest change is a link with Microsoft's SharePoint. This allows us to jump from files and contact cards in CiviCRM directly to customer or file folders in SharePoint. This connection took a lot of work but now works fine. We have also had more reports and data visualizations developed. Finally, we send out customer satisfaction surveys when having finished our support.
What has been CiviCooP's role: before, during and after implementation?
CiviCooP is a great partner. Together we set up the system. We also discuss new functions and adjustments. They built the SharePoint integration for us. They are also building a web portal for us that gives customers and third parties access to their data. And they support updates and upgrades. The people at Civicoop think carefully about our work processes. They can translate that into the software in a clear way. The communication is always helpful and pleasant.
What role does CiviCRM play now?
Our Customer Tracking System (KVS) is still the way to store personal data within our organisation. Because we work a lot with volunteers and interns, it is very important that KVS is easy and user-friendly. Together with CiviCooP, we ensure that our people can do what is really important: help clients.
